QuinStar Technology’s Series QPU Waveguide Based Pressurizing
unit consists of a short length of flanged rectangular waveguide section fitted
with a Schrader valve and an optional pressure gauge. These units are available in all
waveguide sizes covering 12.4 to 220 GHz in standard waveguide bands.
These pressurizing
units are designed for system applications involving high microwave or millimeter wave
power, such as radar systems, where waveguide pressurization is employed to prevent arcing
during peak power operation. |
These
pressurizing units can also be used to purge systems with dry gas in order to prevent
condensation or moisture build up. Continuous monitoring of the pressure is accomplished
by the use of an optional pressure gauge. |
